22nd Annual Scientific & Clinical Congress of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists:

Emergency Planning Tool for People with Diabetes

The American College of Endocrinology (ACE) and Lilly Diabetes hosted a discussion during the Annual Meeting of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (AACE) to raise awareness of the importance for people with diabetes to be prepared for natural disasters and other emergency situations.

ACE and Lilly Diabetes offers the download, "My Diabetes Emergency Plan" in English and Spanish.  Since 2006, nearly 12 million emergency preparedness checklists have been made available in English and Spanish.

The planner is a logical guide to always being ready for any type of emergency that may imperil a diabetic.
