Q. What are your favorite healthy foods? And when you do indulge, what’s your go-to favorite?

A. "I often start out my day with a Green Gunk Smoothie, which blends avocado and kale." (Recipe, below.) "One of my other favorite things is a kale salad, which I’ll put walnuts, pumpkin seeds, Parmesan cheese, olive oil and lemon in. When I’m going to indulge, I’d have to say cheeseburgers are my guilty pleasure."

Green "Gunk" Smoothie (Courtesy of Yum! Catering)

* 4 cups stemmed kale, lightly packed

* 1/2 avocado

* 1 small banana ("I like to keep mine in the freezer," says McGraw.)

* 10 oz. coconut water

* 1 heaping Tbsp. "unflavored" protein powder (optional)

Combine all ingredients in a high power blender. ("I use a Nutribullet," says McGraw.)
