Calcium levels have went a little wacky

From: eastshanty1 - 7 years 32 weeks ago

My son just had his thyroid removed yesterday April 27, 2011. Papillary thyroid cancer. He is 40, and done well with the surgery. However, the calcium levels aren't what there suppose to be, so not released from hospital yet. His is 7.8 I think they want them at least 8. The glands for the calcium were not removed, but disturbed. They will take another test in the morning. Any thoughts? Thanks Leonard
