Hi!
I found a 1.2cm nodule on my right thyroid approx 2months ago. Ultrasound results showed that it was hypoechoic and hyperemic as well as having microcalcifications. In his notes the radiologist advised biopsy and surgical removal. I went for a FNA last week and the Dr struggled to get an aspirate. After 3 attempts "we went with that" in his words. I got the results back today and the fna was benign. I don't know whether to trust these results. Any advise?? Thanks!

As your nodule is small, you can follow up and check for changes to nodule size every 6-12 month.
