Enlarged Thyroid

From: Chicagogrl1 - 1 year 46 weeks ago

About a year and a half ago I went to the doctor because a friend noticed I had a goiter. I had been tired, cold all of the time gaining wait, so it looked like it was probably hypothyroidism which my mom has. I was tested and while I am borderline hypo and my numbers had changed a bit, the doctor thought it was more likely a viral thyroiditis. After about 7 weeks it went down and symptoms also went away. I also was negative for Hasimotos. A few weeks ago I started to notice my thyroid swelling again. It has double in size since Thursday because I took a picture just to monitor the goiter. I am going back to the doc this week but I'm wondering if anyone has any idea what might be happening or why it would happen twice.
