Pins & Needles Moving around my body

From: chowman13 - 2 years 5 weeks ago

Hi, wonder if anyone else has or is having this issue. Started about a year ago. I had a burning on the tops of my feet. Sometimes I get pain so bad, it hurt to walk. My Doc wrote it off to muscle strain, but it would happen in both feet. Then about 3 months ago, I started to have burning in my chest. At age 54, you think, is this the big one? So after multiple visits to my doc and the ER, and passing all the heart attack protocols with flying colors, now my pain is moving all over. Neck, shoulders, arms, thighs, knees, seems to be no rhyme or reason. It can be a burning, or the pins & needles feeling like when your foot falls asleep. When I feel it in my face or neck, its more like a pressure or a tension? I have notice that it seems to be worse after I eat. Along with the burning sensation, I do feel lightheaded and nausea after eating. It also comes and goes. There are times I feel great, like I could run thru walls. But then other times, I feel like crap, and soon after that feeling I get the burning somewhere on my body?

Reason I'm writing this thread is I read online that pins & needles could be a sign of low thyroid. I do have hypothyroidism and have been on meds for 20 years and get my blood tested regularly. My dose was just upped about a year ago. Anyone else have similar symptoms related to low thyroid?

My doctor thinks its just anxiety!
