PHT very high

From: Anniepea - 1 year 17 weeks ago

I had high calcium since 2010. I had so many side effects because of it: anxiety, mood swings, racing heart, fatigue, etc. Finally my doctor agreed to take one of my parathyroid glands out. My calcium level went to normal range immediately. Six weeks after surgery my doctor ordered a calcium level test. My PTH intake is 277 The normal range is 14 to 72. Does anyone know what the PTH means?
