Neuroendocrine tumours

From: ZED - 2 years 4 weeks ago

I do not see anything re Neuroendocrine tumours in general. The MEN 1 and 2 are mentioned, but for those who aren't familar with NETs they are as the name suggests, Neuroendocrine in nature. They can occur anywhere in the body. I have pernicious anaemia and was diagnosed with gastric NETs. The best treatment is resection and I go in for scopes every 6 monts or so and they remove and biopsy any lesions. I was dignosed 10 years ago. Now my thyroid is hyperactive after many many years sl we are going to have to take a closer look.
Does anyone else have NETs?
