Thyroidectomy

From: Carolyn90 - 2 years 35 weeks ago

My endo recommended me to a surgeon, and the surgeon recommended that all of my thyroid be removed. I'm 25 years old and I'm very nervous to have this procedure. I have two nodules on my thyroid one on each side, drs are going off of genetic testing and a positive braf from an ultra sound or biopsy. The test basically state that I am a high chance for thyroid cancer... 30%. I don't know what to do or believe... but don't want to make wrong choice. I have surgery scheduled, but not until til january. Any advice would help
