Hi all!
Im a 27 y.o. female, normal weight, fairly healthy with the exception of ADHD, anxiety, and depression.
I recently had blood work down that revealed mild hypercalcemia. Subsequent testing of vitamin D and pth demonstrated very low vitamin D levels and low-normal pth levels.
My provider explained to me to hypercalcemia, vitamin D deficiency, and low-normal pth don’t add up.
She retested everything and we got the same results.
I underwent parathyroid nuclear imaging which was normal for my parathyroid and thyroid glands.
My thyroid panel was also normal.
Regarding my lifestyle, I haven’t eaten dairy in almost 4 years and I spend about 2 hours a day in the sun, more on the weekends.
She has now referred me to an endocrinologist for further evaluation and basically said she has no clue what’s going on.
I was just curious if anyone has had a similar experience or know of any questions I should be asking when I’m seen.
