Is this good advice?

I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter. I debated with myself on whether or not to respond to your post because I'm also worried about my own daughter. She is 21 and has been having similar symptoms for 3 years. She has extremely dry skin, bad acne (not a problem in h.s.), cold hands and feet, fatigue, irregular periods as in skipping months, headaches and more. They've done general blood work before which came back normal. Recently, we took her to an endocrinologist thinking it was her thyroid. The doctor was very understanding and went more in depth with her blood work. She scanned her thyroid, which looked fine.Today the office called and said her prolactin numbers were off, so she needs to go in for an MRI. It could be a tumor, but IF it is it can be treated with medication to shrink it. Again, we're still in limbo here, but at least her doctor took her symptoms seriously. Other doctors basically said it was stress i.e. all in your head or that's just the way you are... Hang in there and keep searching for an answer, I know we are.
