I am a 42 year old woman who is having 3/4 of the symptoms of Hypothyroidism and an addition symptom of facial flushing. I have recently been told I have two cysts on my thyroid too. I have had testing (blood work) on my thyroid and the tests came back negative. My question is: Can I test negative for Hypothyroidism or any thyroid issues and still have the disease?

hello tempez, my name is kylie. My advice to u is continue to get blood works & scans done even though your original tests came back negative. mypersonal experience with hyperthyroidism is that to start with my results came back negative for a year, i then continued to persue further tests only to reviel that in fact i do have hyperthyroidism. please persue this as it is a life changing disease that quite often can be mislead to be something else. i hope u find this information useful....goodluck
