I have Hashimoto's there is hope ❤

From: Vanessamaurath - 4 years 51 weeks ago

Hi everyone, I have Hashimoto's disease. I got diagnosed correctly finally this past December. My Dr told me there was nothing I could do besides take Levothyroxine forever and deal with being heavier. He said no diet change or supplement regiment would help at all. What a liar

Is this good advice?

Hi Vanessa!
I was diagnosed recently (a week ago) with Hashimoto's (not a big surprise, since Dad has it). My levels aren't so low that I need medication, and my Dr pretty much told me that there is nothing to do now. I just don't think that they know! Do what makes a difference for you. I have been researching diets/supplements for the past week since being diagnosed. I started with cutting out gluten and dairy, then learned the possibly sugar is also not a good thing. There is so much information out there and I don't know what is the right one. What have you found?
