Just diagnosed TSH 273. FT4 .25 THYROID PEROXIDASE AB 580.

From: AmandaQ - 3 years 50 weeks ago

So I was just diagnosed on 9/30/2016 with Hashimoto's with Severe Hypothyroidism. I'm going to be 30 next month weighing at 154lbs.. doesn't seem like a lot but it feels like a lot for being 5'1. I have a long list of symptoms. I feel like a zombie 90% of the time. I feel like no matter how little or how much sleep I get I'm always exhausted. As far back as I can remember I've had terrible anxiety. I always feel anxious. Mood swings. I'm always cold. Something on my body always hurts. My voice has become a little hoarse sounding within the past two months. I first noticed my hair thinning around age 18.. I've always struggled with my weight.. I'm currently weighing at the heaviest I've ever been. In the past year and a half I put on 20 lbs and I have been on a 1200 cal per day diet and I have been exercising and have only lost 4 lbs.
my doctor just prescribed me synthroid 112mcg once a day and Cytomel 25mcg once a day for only 10 days.
I have only been on it a few days now and I've noticed that I have been more tired and I have been having headaches.
Hoping that within the next few weeks I will see some changes.
If anyone can give some advice about anything that would be completely wonderful, I am new to all this and any suggestions would be great.
