Thyroid ultrasound

Here are my results from my ultrasound haven't spoken with the doctor as she is out of the country

The isthmus measures 4 mm in anteroposterior dimension. There is a 0.8 x 0.4 cm hypoechoic nodule in the isthmus.

The right lobe measures 4.5 x 1.9 x 1.6 cm and appears normal in size and contour with heterogenous appearance. There is a 0.9 x 0.7 x 0.9 cm isoechoic nodule in the superior right lobe.

The left lobe measures 4.6 x 1.5 x 1.6 cm and appears normal in size and contour with heterogenous appearance. Multiple subcentimeter cysts seen within the left lobe..

You need to,discuss with your doctor. The nodules they are measuring are quite small. Here they biopsy when they reach 1cm. Mine is 4 cm.
the other words mean how the sound waves bounce off them.
