Thyroid Imbalance, No Cure

From: Nyle23 - 2 years 31 weeks ago

Hi, I am a 23 year old male, who has not been fully diagnosed in an ongoing 9 month ordeal, Tests have shown up I am borderline Hypothyroid, which can fluctuate between Hypo and Hyper. I have been tested for numerous things as well as Hashimoto's and do not have any. My GP was no real help and went private to a Thyroid Specialist and even he is bewildered at what is going on and doesn't seem to put his foot down and figure it out, I am in a Declining health state and feel horrible on a daily basis with 101 things wrong with me and affecting me because of this, If there is anyone out there who may be able to give me advice on this, it would be greatly appreciated, I am not an expert in this field as to the complete logistics of Thyroid function so bear with me, Thanks

Have you been tested for thyroid antibodies (TPO & Tg)? Having many things wrong with you and feeling horrible sounds like what I'm dealing with. I was diagnosed in May.

Hi sorry for the late reply as I was hospitalised, I am not sure if I have been checked for what you have said I will check the paperwork, I had a thyroid hormone resistance test done at the hospital which is coming back as abnormal, meaning it could be a 1 in 50,000 disease where my body is resisting any medication towards it.

Try seeing a functional medicine doctor?
