Frustrated & Confused

From: Scentsy Saf - 4 years 16 weeks ago

I was told when I was 17/18 I had hypothyroidism and started on Synthroid. I was young and dumb and quit taking it. To get diagnosed I swallowed the pill and then had the scan. For the past 20 years I have been seen for many things. One of the first comments they make is it sounds like your thyroid. All my blood work comes back in the "normal" range. Just about every female materially and a few paternal relatives are on Synthroid. My grandmother also had a goiter removed. I just started seeing an Endocrinologist in March. She says I probably have Hashimotos like everyone else in my family, but because my labs are "normal" She won't treat with medication til my labs change. She is also keeping an eye on a lump inside. I am beyond frustrated. I've requested the scan like they did when I was 18 but no one seems to think its important enough to do. I live 3 1/2 hours to the endo I was referred to, who as of Aug no longer accepts my insurance. The next closet will be Seattle, another hour away. Any suggestions would be great. It really stinks feeling like crap all the time.

I also have NALD, enlarged spleen, type 2 Diabetic, Metabolic Syndrome, High Cholesterol & Triglycerides, Spine. & Joint diseases and the list goes on.
