About H. Jack Baskin MD FACE
Dr. Baskin is the former President of the American Association for Clinical Endocrinologists (1997-1998). Dr. Baskin received his internal medicine training as well as specialty training in endocrinology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He held a teaching appointment at Emory School of Medicine prior to moving to Orlando, Florida where he currently practices. Dr. Baskin has received many honors and is a frequent lecturer on endocrine diseases. He has published numerous articles and book chapters on thyroid and other endocrine diseases. He is an active member in numerous societies including the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the Florida Endocrine Society, the American Thyroid Association, the Endocrine Society, and the Thyroid Foundation of America. Prior to serving as President of AACE, Dr. Baskin was President of the Florida Endocrine Society.
