European healthcare leaders gather to discuss osteoporosis
In order to discuss how osteoporosis is affecting the world, several global leaders in health are meeting throughout the next year. March 2011 will see the largest gathering of bone health experts, researchers, clinicians and osteoporosis patient societies in Europe.
The scientific meetings, which are organized by Bone and Joint Congresses, are hosted by the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) and the European Society for Clinical and Economic Aspects of Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis (ESCEO).
The European Congress on Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis will focus on clinical research and the clinical management of osteoporosis and osteoarthritis. The event will be a major forum for bone specialists, general practitioners, orthopedists and other health professionals who wish to stay current on the latest information in the field.
IOF-ESCEO Pre-Clinical Symposium will provide an opportunity for scientists to showcase their latest research. It will feature oral presentations, lectures and four Meet the Faculty sessions on topics of interest to young researchers.
Prior to the scientific meetings IOF will host the largest worldwide gathering of osteoporosis patient societies in the world.
