Dieting for Diabetes

From: alex - 21 weeks 5 days ago

1. When i start dieting, i stop taking my medications for my diabetes. The result is that my sugar level becomes almost always in normal level. But after 1 1/2, my weight was reduced by almost 3 kg. Shall i continue my dieting or not?

2. My doctor has given me GLUCOPHAGE (850 mg) to control my sugar level. And i found out that this medication causes higher liver function. Is there any medicine that can substituted without no side effects?

There is no word like dieting for diabetes. It is just about following a balanced diet rich in fibrous food at regular intervals in proper amount. Also include some exercise in your life style.Nowadays many natural supplements are available containing anti-diabetic herbs like bitter melon etc.I also know one of this natural supplement called episulin. Episulin is a combination of herbs that has been proven to be synergistically beneficial to a diabetic patient. This combination is based on nine active scientifically proven herbs for their action in diabetes. This formulation contains an active principle Epicatechin derived from the bark of Pterocarpus marsupium which has been proven to be a natural insulin mimetic. As it is natural, therefore, has no side effects.Do consult your doctor about it.
