Iam so sorry that that had to happen to your son, no child should feel different cause of diabetes. But you do wont him to be properly cared for, my daughters school requires that every teacher that comes in direct contact with her go to a week long diabetes education course in our area. We have a wonderful school nurse. We moved just to have a full time nurse in school for our daughter its not always easy but well worth the peace of mind knowing everyone there is somewhat educated
