DIET

I have been on a diet for about two months i have done from walking to running to bike riding and i have yet to lose 5 pounds. Does anyone know what i should do. I am depress and dont know what to eat anymore. I am presently hypo and on 60mg compound thyroid.

Welcome to my world! Maybe you need to have your blood levels checked again since you are exceriseing. That can make a difference and you may need to have you medication increased. Also what are you taking Levoxyl or synthroid. Levoxyl is a generic and for some people not as affective as synthroid. Synthroid is more expense.
As for what do we eat who knows. There is a book out by Mary J Shomon called the Thyroid Diet maybe that will help.
Also do you see an regular Md or do you have a Endocrinologist? If not maybe you need to look for one. Good Luck and let me know if you find a good diet.
