I am 34 years old and was diagnosed with Graves' Disease in 2003. I killed my thryoid almost 6 years ago with RAI. I have been on Levoxyl since then. All of a sudden about a month ago, everything went haywire. For almost 2 weeks, doctors were telling me there was nothing wrong and that I was depressed. I finally told my doctor to find out what was wrong or send me somewhere that could. They discovered that my I was getting too much thryoid hormone. I went from 200 mcg to 137 mcg. They did a thyroid ultrasound that shows fullness on the right side. The only thing the thyroid scan showed was that I had killed my thyroid. Since then I have had weird feelings in my neck and in my legs and discomfort in my chest. THey said that my heart is fine and put me on acid reflux medicine. They did a blood test for clots and that was normal. I'm at a point of frustration. Some nights I am scared to go to sleep. Can anyone give me some insight.
