Hello! I am new to the page. Actually going to get blood work done in a few hours. I was just curious what other people have found helpful with weight loss. I am currently 21 years old, was diagnosed with Hashimoto's at 14. My doctor refers to it as the "boogey man." My thyroid is enlarged, I am on the track to have it removed in the next 5 years.
I have battled with weight loss my entire life. I see a registered nutritionist currently, who helps a lot of hashimoto's patients. She told me that dairy can be a big trigger along with gluten. Has anyone found it effective to cut both of those out of their diet? I eat very little dairy, always been very sensitive to it.
My hashimoto's loves to take me for a good ride. It has been a long journey over these 7 years, hope to find some guidence here!
