yeast infection
From: dal - 9 weeks 5 days ago
I am suffering the inconvenience of male yeast infection.
My Doctor prescribed foot fungus cream.
Natural food network recommends Apple Vinegar and Water
to drink and acididiflous .
Needless to say the Doctor's prescription did not work.
Is this yeast infection caused by high sugar?
Any sugggestions? Remedies?

I'm sure you've read a lot of websites about yeast infections. Instead of a topical cream, you should try to see if your Dr. will consider a tablet, I know that Diflucan (fluconazole) was extremely efficient. Many moons ago, I used this tablet only once, and all the symptoms went away.
However, you need to discuss this with your Dr. Some people are allergic to this or any other antifungal medication, or may be experiencing liver or kidney disease.
There is more information on Diflucan on these 3 sites:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0000890
http://www.drugs.com/diflucan.html

A weak immune system is another reason why some people would experience yeast infections. Supporting your immune system helps, I increase my garlic intake in my diet, add yogurt (that contains Lactobacillus Acidophilus, like Yoplait) and also moderate exercise (depending on your physical condition). If you hate yogurt, you can buy L. Acidophilus pills in any health store like GNC.
