Clinical trials are important to research to help improve the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with thyroid cancer (including papillary thyroid cancer, medullary thyroid cancer, and follicular thyroid cancer). Certain studies evaluate prevention and control of this endocrine system-related cancer and improve patient quality of life. Other trials evaluate how thyroid cancer affects other body systems, its relationship to other diseases, and advances in diagnostic and patient monitoring tools.
