Many clinical trials are planned or already underway to help improve medical care of people with hypoglycemia (low blood glucose). Some research studies evaluate ways to prevent and control this endocrine problem and improve patient quality of life. Other trials seek to evaluate how hypoglycemia affects other body systems, its relationship to other diseases, and advances in diagnostic tools.
