Clinical trials are important to research to help improve the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with Graves' disease, which causes the body to produce too much thyroid hormone (hyperthyroidism). Certain studies evaluate prevention and control of this endocrine system-related disease and improve patient quality of life. Other trials evaluate how Graves' disease affects other body systems, its relationship to other diseases, and advances in diagnostic and patient monitoring tools.
