Clinical Trials for Type 1 Diabetes
Different clinical trials help to improve medical care and quality of life of people with type 1 diabetes (also called type 1 diabetes mellitus). Some research studies evaluate ways to prevent and control this endocrine disease. Other trials seek to evaluate how type 1 diabetes affects other body systems, its relationship to other diseases, and advances in diagnostic and monitoring tools.
