Clinical trials help to improve the diagnosis and treatment of patients with Addison's disease, an adrenal gland disorder. Some research studies evaluate ways to prevent Addison's disease and improve patient quality of life. Other trials seek to evaluate how the adrenal glands affect other body systems, their relationship to disease, and advances in diagnostic tools.
